Creativitiworks is managed by the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media, at the University of Sunderland, and allows new creative businesses to hot desk for up to 2 years. Facilities are free for the first 6 months and at a discounted rate thereafter. Creativitiworks offers: Business advice and support, a hot desk equipped with a PC or Apple Mac, e-mail and internet access, telephone, desktop printing, photocopying and use presentation/meeting room. Support is available through a team of business advisors and companies can also access external University academics, agencies and networks, as well as University facilities and equipment at a preferential rate.
Born and bread in the monkey hanging town of Hartlepool, Kris 'Skippy' Middleton brings with him an impressive array of talents and skills in the creative arts and multimedia industry. Studying for three years at the University of Sunderland, Kris graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Multimedia Games, an intense programming course specialising in creating dynamic multimedia, before switching his attention to art with an MA in Animation and Design, also at the University of Sunderland. With expertise in the programming and multimedia world and a strong understanding in art, design and aesthetics, Kris has been involved in many projects ranging from web development, mobile gaming, 3D design and even as an extra in movies. After 4 years of planning Kris finally launched his own business in 2011, The Legend of Skippy, allowing him to bring his own brand of enthusiasm, commitment and intoxicating personality to the entire world.
